Go-live at University Hospital Würzburg
As a prime example of this cooperation, the VIDAL knowledge base has been successfully implemented at University Hospital Würzburg (UKW), one of Germany’s largest hospital centers with 1,460 beds and 335,000 patients treated annually. The system was deployed in two pilot departments chosen for their treatment complexity: ophthalmology and pediatric psychiatry.
The deployment was managed by the teams of VIDAL MMI Germany GmbH, the German subsidiary of VIDAL Group, responsible for customer relationship and deployment in the German market. This support facilitates reinforced collaboration with the clinical teams at Würzburg University Hospital, and alignment with local regulatory and operational requirements.
